Beam and Helical Couplings

Beam couplings, also called helical or slit couplings, are machined from a single piece of aluminium or stainless steel with a continuous spiral cut. One part means zero backlash and no wearing components, in a very compact body. They suit encoders, light servo and stepper axes, small linear modules and instruments where torque is modest but accuracy and space matter.
