Encoder Couplings
Encoder couplings connect an encoder or tachometer shaft to the machine shaft. Torque is low but the coupling has to be light, backlash-free and very forgiving of misalignment so that no side load reaches the encoder bearings. RendatSP supplies flexible rubber and polyurethane encoder couplings with aluminium hubs, in the small bore sizes encoders use.
