GFZ series jaw coupling with anodised aluminium hubs that lock onto the shaft with a keyless expansion sleeve instead of a clamp or set screw. Tightening the sleeve screws grips the shaft all the way round with very high holding torque and no key, no keyway and no backlash at the shaft joint, which is what a CNC lathe spindle connection or a heavily loaded ball screw needs. An imported polyurethane spider carries the torque and absorbs misalignment. Seven sizes, outer diameters 40 to 120 mm, bores 10 to 65 mm.

How to order
Couplings are quoted per order, with no price shown on the site. Send us the series GFZ, the outer diameter and length you need, and the two bore diameters, for example GFZ-65X90 with 25 mm and 32 mm bores. If you do not know which size fits, send the motor shaft diameter, the driven shaft diameter, the torque and the space available between the two shafts, and our engineers select it for you. RendatSP ships to Saudi Arabia, Iraq, the UAE, Egypt, Oman, Libya, Morocco, Mauritania, Yemen, Algeria, Jordan and Syria.
Frequently asked questions
What is an expansion sleeve hub and why pay more for it?
It is a tapered sleeve pair inside the hub bore. Tightening the screws squeezes the sleeve onto the shaft around its full circumference, so the grip is far stronger than a set screw or a split clamp, and there is no key to work loose. On a reversing spindle or a high-torque feed drive this is what stops the coupling creeping on the shaft.
Do I still need a keyway?
No. That is the point of the design. It also means you can position the hub anywhere along the shaft, and remove it without damaging anything.
How do I fit and remove it?
Slide the hub on with the sleeve screws loose, set the axial position, then tighten the screws evenly and in sequence to the specified torque. To remove, loosen the screws and free the sleeve; never hammer the hub off the shaft.
Is the spider the same as on the GFC and GFS series?
It is the same family of polyurethane jaw spiders, sized per coupling. Give us the coupling outer diameter and we supply the matching spare spider.
Which size do I need?
Pick the size whose bore range covers both shafts, then check the torque against your drive. Send us the shaft diameters, the motor or spindle torque and whether the load reverses, and we will select it.
