Compatibility and replacement
This version needs a three-phase 380-480 V supply. Compare the power and current with the motor plate: the drive output current must be at least the motor rated current. Frame size FSA has the mounting dimensions listed above, so a same-size V20 fits the existing holes. A remote BOP interface and parameter loader are available as V20 options from Siemens.
Before you replace it
- Check ventilation and cabinet temperature: drives derate or trip when the cabinet is too hot.
- Check the supply voltage, input fuses and motor cable for faults before installing the new drive, so it does not fail for the same reason.
