The Siemens 6ES7592-1AM00-0XB0 is the SIMATIC S7-1500 40-pole front connector with screw-type terminals for 35 mm wide I/O modules. It is supplied with 4 potential bridges and cable ties, and plugs onto the front of S7-1500 and ET 200MP digital and analog modules.
The front connector carries the field wiring, so a failed I/O module can be swapped without rewiring: unplug the connector, change the module and plug it back in. Every 35 mm module needs one, and it is not included with the module.
