The Siemens 6ES7531-7KF00-0AB0 is a SIMATIC S7-1500 analog input module, AI 8xU/I/RTD/TC ST. S7-1500 I/O modules hang on the S7-1500 mounting rail to the right of the CPU and connect through U-connectors on the backplane bus; they can also be used in ET 200MP distributed stations. This 35 mm wide module is wired through a 40-pole front connector (screw type 6ES7592-1AM00-0XB0 or push-in type), which is ordered separately.
It is used with S7-1500 CPUs such as our CPU 1511-1 PN and CPU 1513-1 PN, programmed in STEP 7 (TIA Portal).
