The Siemens 3RT2015-1AP02 is a SIRIUS 3RT2 power contactor in size S00 that switches three-phase motors up to 3 kW at 400 V (7 A in utilisation category AC-3), with a 230 V AC, 50/60 Hz operating coil. It has 1 NC integrated auxiliary contact, and Siemens rates it at 18 A for resistive (AC-1) loads at 40 °C. At 230 V the AC-3 motor rating is 1.5 kW.
In a direct-on-line or star-delta starter the contactor does the actual switching, while the overload relay or motor starter protector provides protection. A worn contactor shows burnt contacts, humming or chattering, and failure to pull in.

Compatibility and replacement
For overload protection mount a SIRIUS 3RU2 thermal overload relay of size S00 directly under the contactor, or combine it with a 3RV2 motor starter protector of the same size using the Siemens link module. Older 3RT10 contactors were replaced by the 3RT20 series; send us the old order number and we will confirm the current equivalent.
