With a 380 V AC 50/60 Hz coil and an AC-3 rating of 40 A, the Schneider LC1D40AQ7 is the TeSys Deca contactor for motors up to 18.5 kW at 400 V. It carries 1 NO + 1 NC auxiliary contacts as standard. At 220/230 V the AC-3 motor rating is 11 kW.
In a typical motor starter the LC1D is combined with a TeSys LRD thermal overload relay mounted directly underneath, or with a GV2 motor circuit breaker for fuseless protection.

Compatibility and replacement
Pairs with the TeSys LRD thermal overload relay (direct mounting) and the GV2 motor circuit breaker. Add-on blocks such as LADN11 (1NO+1NC) or LADN22 (2NO+2NC) fit on the front. LC1D contactors from older TeSys D production are replaced one-to-one by TeSys Deca of the same reference.
