The Schneider Electric LC1D25E7 is a TeSys Deca 3-pole contactor rated 25 A in AC-3 at up to 440 V, for motors of 11 kW at 380/400 V, with a 48 V AC 50/60 Hz coil. It carries 1 NO + 1 NC auxiliary contacts as standard. At 220/230 V the AC-3 motor rating is 5.5 kW.
The contactor switches the motor or load on command from the PLC, a push-button or a timer. Burnt or pitted contacts, coil noise and failure to close are the usual signs that it needs to be replaced.
