Send us the series GHG, the outer diameter and length you need, and the two bore diameters, for example GHG-34X34 with 10 mm and 12 mm bores. If you do not know which size fits, send the motor shaft diameter, the driven shaft diameter, the torque and the space available between the two shafts, and our engineers select it for you. RendatSP ships to Saudi Arabia, Iraq, the UAE, Egypt, Oman, Libya, Morocco, Mauritania, Yemen, Algeria, Jordan and Syria.

Frequently asked questions

Why choose an all-metal Oldham over a plastic disc version?

Because plastics soften, creep and degrade in heat, in solvents and under radiation, and they outgas in vacuum. An aluminium bronze ring does none of that, and it carries more torque. The trade-off is less damping and more noise, and the metal ring needs the shafts kept within the stated offset.

Does the bronze ring need grease?

Aluminium bronze runs against steel without added lubricant, which is why it is used here. In very dusty environments keep the coupling covered rather than greasing it, because grease holds abrasive dust against the sliding faces.

What temperature can it take?

Far higher than a nylon or polyurethane disc, since every part is metal. Tell us the actual working temperature in your application and we will confirm against the manufacturer limit before you order.

Can it be used in vacuum?

Yes. Stainless steel and aluminium bronze do not outgas the way polymers do, which is why this construction is common on vacuum and semiconductor equipment.

This version uses set screws. Is a clamp version available?

The GHG series is supplied with set screw hubs. If you need a clamp hub Oldham, the GHC aluminium series and the GHP and GHPC stainless series cover that, and we can quote whichever fits your shaft and torque.

GHG series all-metal Oldham coupling with polished 304 stainless steel hubs and an imported aluminium bronze centre ring instead of a plastic disc.
