SMC SY7120-5GZ-02 is a SY7000 series 5 port pilot operated solenoid valve, body ported, single unit, 2 position single solenoid. It is wired for 24 V DC through a grommet, lead wire 300 mm, it carries an indicator light and a surge voltage suppressor, and the manual override is the non-locking push type. All ports Rc 1\/4. Renda Trading Company supplies it as a genuine SMC part.<\/p>\n

The SY family is the valve most machine builders reach for when they need a compact, fast and reliable directional valve for a double-acting cylinder. A 2 position single solenoid valve has one coil and a return spring: energise the coil and the cylinder extends, remove the signal and the spring returns the spool, so the cylinder always goes to a known state when power is lost. That behaviour is what makes it the standard choice for clamping, feeding, stopping and ejecting on production machinery.<\/p>\n

SY7000 is the largest of the three sizes here and is used where a bigger cylinder needs more flow. Its threaded ports are Rc 1\/4 and one-touch push-in fittings are available for 8 mm and 10 mm tube.<\/p>\n
