The Siemens 6AV6648-0DC11-3AX0 is a SIMATIC HMI Smart 700 IE V4 touch panel, 7 inch widescreen TFT at 800 x 480 pixels. V4 is the generation that replaced V3 in the SMART LINE range.
It keeps the same mounting cut-out and the same WinCC flexible SMART engineering as the V3 panel while running a faster processor, so an existing project can usually be moved across with little work. Ethernet and RS422/485 ports connect it to an S7-200 SMART CPU, and the USB host port takes a stick for project and recipe transfer.
Powered from 24 V DC with an IP65 front, it is designed to sit in the door of a machine panel in a normal industrial environment, including food and beverage plants where the front face gets washed down.
