The Mitsubishi Electric FR-D740-036-EC is a FREQROL FR-D700 series compact inverter (VFD) for a 1.5kW (2HP) three-phase motor, with a rated output current of 3.6A, on a 3-phase 380-480 V supply (EU specification). It has general-purpose magnetic flux vector control, a safety stop function, and RS-485 with Modbus RTU.

Compatibility and replacement
Match the rated current and supply voltage of the old inverter. Parameters can be copied with the FR-PU07 parameter unit or set again from the built-in dial. Per Mitsubishi, inverters of 0.4K and above have a built-in regenerative brake transistor, so an external brake resistor can be connected for lifting or fast stopping.
