Autonics PR12-4DP2: inductive proximity sensor from the Autonics PR range (Cylindrical Inductive Proximity Sensors).
An inductive sensor replaces mechanical limit switches wherever a metal part has to be detected reliably at high speed: cams, gear teeth, cylinder end positions, pallets and conveyor carriers. Because nothing touches the target, the sensor keeps working in dust, oil mist and vibration.
