Model PR12-2DN is a genuine Autonics inductive proximity sensor (PR series, Cylindrical Inductive Proximity Sensors).
An inductive sensor replaces mechanical limit switches wherever a metal part has to be detected reliably at high speed: cams, gear teeth, cylinder end positions, pallets and conveyor carriers. Because nothing touches the target, the sensor keeps working in dust, oil mist and vibration.
