Siemens lists it as frame size FSA with USS, Modbus RTU on the RS485 terminals; it is unfiltered and has no braking chopper built in.
The V20 is the entry-level Siemens drive for simple speed control: pumps, fans, compressors, conveyors and mixers. It has a built-in operator panel and is set up quickly with connection macros and application macros.

Compatibility and replacement
This version needs a three-phase 380-480 V supply. Compare the power and current with the motor plate: the drive output current must be at least the motor rated current. Frame size FSA has the mounting dimensions listed above, so a same-size V20 fits the existing holes. Siemens also offers filtered versions and other supplies; if the old label shows a different order number, send it and we confirm the exact match.
Replacement checklist
- Check the braking resistor and DC-link wiring if the old drive tripped on overvoltage when stopping.
- Save or write down the parameters of the old drive if it still powers up; an operator panel can copy them.
