The Siemens 6ES7193-6BP00-0DA0 is the SIMATIC ET 200SP BaseUnit BU15-P16+A0+2D, BU type A0, with 16 push-in process terminals and no AUX terminals. It is the light-grey BaseUnit that opens a new potential group: it feeds in the 24 V DC supply for itself and the modules to its right.
The field wiring goes into the BaseUnit and the I/O module plugs on top, so modules can be replaced without rewiring. Each ET 200SP I/O module of BU type A0 needs one BaseUnit.
